- This is a notice of intent to award a single source contract using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) - Soliciting From A Single Source. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC)-Fort Dix, 5402 1st Street, Fort Dix, NJ 08640 has a requirement to procure the following items: 10 Rooms per Month for 12 Months Lodging for Army Reserve Soldiers Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), "Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available." The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, single source contract to: IHG Army Hotels - Ft Huachuca. The Government is required to utilize available lodging on installations when it is available IAW the Joint Travel Regulation. The lodging is being utilized for Army Reserve soldiers that are outside of the commuting radius for battle assembly weekends. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 721110 and the Business Size Standard is $30 million. All responses received within two (2) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Time, Wednesday, May, 23, 2012. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
