DLA Energy invites the current 16 ESPC holders to submit a written response to this Notice of Opportunity for our consideration. Only those 16 DOE ESPC awardees are eligible for award. The Kwajalein Atoll is part of the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI). A number of the atoll's islands are operated by the U.S. military under a long term lease with the Republic of the Marshall Islands. This ESPC includes facilities on the islands of Kwajalein, Roi-Namur, and Meck. Under this ESPC, USAKA seeks mainly to reduce the consumption of electricity on the order of 50%, but is also to a lesser degree interested in increasing utilization of renewable energy operating or capable of operating on microgrids and reducing the use of potable water. USAKA seeks this project to not only meet federal efficiency and renewable mandates, but also to meet US Army Net Zero energy goals.
