Description

This is an intent to award sole source notification. An authorized source of repair is required to work on the B-1 Overwing Faring(OWF) Seals. Part numbers listed for repair include #WPE261-0113-008/-0014, #WPE261-0113-0007/-0013, #WPE261-0113-0005/-0011, #WPE261-0113-0012, # WPE261-0118-0004/-0009, and #WPE261-0118-0003/-0009. The repair will be done in accordance with Technical Order 1B-1B-2-51GS-00-1, package 51-73-02, pages 13-13 through 13-19. French's Upholstry of Rapid City, SD is the only facility authorized to repair the OWF Seals for the B-1 Bomber. Under the contemplated contract French's Upholstrey shall repair three different types of Overwing Faring Seal Repairs (Partial Skin repair, Half Skin Repair, and Full Skin Repair) to the Upper Aft OWF Seal, Upper Fwd OWF Seal, and the Lower OWF Seal. A justification and approval document will be posted on or about 12 June 2012.
