Description

Synopsis: The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peter VA Medical Center is currently seeking qualified firms capable of providing "Service Maintenance on Alcon Constellation Vision System". Equipment/Model number is M# Constellation Lxt, S#0902746301X. The equipment is located at the New York Harbor Healthcare System, 423 East 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010. The vendor will be responsible for but not limited to; 1)Cleaning of equipment. 2)Reviewing operating system software diagnostics to ensure that system is operating to the manufacturer's specifications. 3)Calibrating and lubricating the equipment. 4)Performing remedial maintenance of non-emergent nature. 5)Test and replacing faulty and worn parts and/or parts which are likely to become faulty, fail or become worn. 6)Adjusting and calibrating as necessary. 7)Inspecting electrical wiring and cables for wear and fraying. 8)Inspecting all mechanical components including, but not limited to patient restraints and support devices, chains, belts, bearing and tracks, interlocks, clutches, motors, mechanical integrity, safety, and performance. 9)Performing Electrical Safety Inspections, which should include line cord ground wire resistance and leakage as specified in the Conformance Standards. 10)All parts, services, manuals, tools, or software required to successfully complete scheduled PM are included within this contract, and its agreed upon price, unless specifically stated in writing otherwise. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 811219. The firms will be responsible for providing all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies and equipment and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and assure effective services for the equipment. Firms desiring consideration shall email directly to the Contracting Officer referencing the following in the subject field, "Service contract for Alcon Constellation Vision System" then contain the following information within the body of the email, name of firm, complete address, phone and fax number of contact. Please review and complete attached Solicitation/RFQ #: VA243-12-Q-1472.
