- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Dix, New Jersey intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Job Order Contracts (JOC) in support of the 99th Regional Support Command. This requirement will be restricted to 8(a) businesses on a competitive basis. All other firms are deemed ineligible to provide bids. The contract period consists of a base period (12 consecutive months from contract award date) with two, 1-year option periods. It is anticipated that multiple awards will be made. A maximum of three awards are anticipated to be made. The estimated magnitude of the total requirement is more than $10,000,000.00. The Contractor shall provide labor, supervision, and required to provide real property maintenance and repair to include minor construction and/asbestos abatement of reserve facilities in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia and West Virginia. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220,"Commercial and Institutional Building Construction ", with a small business size standard of $33.5 Million. Release Date: The anticipated posting date of the IFB is on/or around 31 July 2012. Upon release to the public, the IFB as well as amendments will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website https://www.fbo.gov/. The IFB will specify the actual date and time for receipt of bids. It is a requirement that all Contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with Central Contractors Registry (CCR) per FAR Clause 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. The website may be accessed on the Internet at htttp://www.ccr.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests for paper copies will not be honored.
