- Compact Treaded All Terrain Surveillance & Inspection Robot - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on behalf of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) in Edison, NJ requests a quote for a Compact Treaded All Terrain Surveillance & Inspection Robot. In accordance with FAR Part 13, this requirement shall be set-aside for small businesses only. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement shall be: 541330. The complete package shall include the controls, camera system, battery charging station and specified accessories. The robot shall be capable of climbing household stairs and obstacles. The robot shall be very maneuverable and able to inspect under vehicles and houses. The robot shall have the ability to be configured in many different ways. The specifications are as follows: a robotic tank with motors, batteries, motor controller, motor mounts, paint and assembly; flipper arm and assembly; sealed external ethernet port for wireless bridge configuration; WiFi br idge, controller, custom robot control interface with encoder feedback, video server (PC not included); ability to convert WiFi package into tethered fiber optic system; indoor/outdoor fiber optic cable (25 feet test cable); 360 Pan Tilt 27X Zoom camera with a removable flush mounted camera; position feedback of flipper arm; positioning control of flipper arm; standard microphone embedded in the nose of robot; PA system with radio for broadcasting from remote to robot; remotely operated mounted LED lights; remote release hitch; mounting tray for mounting external sensor equipment; Smart Charger battery charging station (a charger should be available for each battery in a custom case); standard pelican case; spare LiFePO4 Drive batteries and Li-Ion Control Battery for robot; shipping and handling charges: Please submit your quote via email to: scott.elaine@epa.gov no later than 3:00 pm May 31, 2012.
