- AMENDMENT 1: NAVAIR has completed market research to determine the optimum competitive approach for satisfying the follow-on requirement for Aircrew Services currently being provided by Wyle Laboratories under contract N00421-08-C-0025. Reference is made to Sources Sought Notice (SSN) number N00421-12-PR-00065 for Aircrew Services posted in FEDBIZOPPS on 6 December 2011, and SSN 2517-12-0081 for UAS Aircrew Services posted in FEDBIZOPPS on 5 March 2012. On the basis of that research NAVAIR intends to divide the requirement into the following three offerings under NAICS code 488190, size standard $30M, for competition: Title RFP Competition Aircrew Services N00421-12-R-0013 Full & Open Aircrew Scheduling and Support N00421-12-R-0049 Small Business UAS Aircrew Services N00421-12-R-0015 Small Business The Aircrew Services requirement will include flight crew and operators for all manned air vehicles and Broad Area Maritime Surveillance (BAMS). The Aircrew Scheduling and Support requirement will include all scheduling and ground support requirements in support of manned air vehicle and BAMS missions. The Unmanned Air Vehicle System (UAS) Aircrew Services requirement will include operators, scheduling, and ground support for unmanned systems, excluding BAMS. This posting is for informational purposes only; the Government is not requesting any additional Industry submissions or input regarding these requirements at this time. Note that the above determinations are preliminary and subject to change based on Government requirements. When final determinations have been made, a complete synopsis will be posted for each offering outlining the requirement in more detail. Interested parties should continue to monitor FedBizOpps for those postings, any other information regarding these requirements, and for the Requests for Proposals.
