- Solicitation release date will be on or about 6/15/12. SDVOSB competed set-aside acquisition for firm fixed price construction contract to rehabilitate Heyburn Lake outlet structure and Birch Lake service bridge in Oklahoma. Scope at Heyburn Lake includes: 1. remove, dispose and replace three 36-inch butterfly valves and all valve access grating in the gallery 2. provide motorized valve actuators and required ancilliary equipment including electrical lines 3. provide permanent fall protection for the gallery access ladders 4. remove, dispose and replace three morning glory hole trash racks with lifting and storage modifications Scope at Birch Lake includes: 1. clean, inspect, repair bridge welds 2. paint bridge super structure, bearings, armor steel, expansion joints and scuppers 3. replace bridge deck expansion joint seals 4. scarify bridge deck 5. reseal approach slab and rework asphalt adjacent to concrete approach 6. seal concrete surfaces 7. provide gutter and downspout system under gate tower deck joint The estimated order of magnitude is $500K to $1M dollars.
