- 1. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT TO BE USED FOR MARKET ANALYSIS IN DETERMINING THE AVAILABILITY OF POTENTIALLY EQUIVALENT CONTROL VALVES. NO AWARDS WILL BE MADE FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THEREFORE, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION. ALL RESPONSES WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION STRATEGY FOR THE FUTURE ACQUISITION. 2. Ellsworth AFB, SD requires five MHU 4-way control valves, Parker part number VDP11DDDD104A or Air Force part number 000993-835-10, with a hole diameter on the ram of.936 -.945 and a countersink of 1.06 x 82deg. The uncommanded movement criteria for the required valve must not exceed ½ inch with a 10 minute time period and must be nuclear certified. 3. All interested parties are invited to provide the following information about your company/institution, or any teaming or joint venture partners. Interested parties are requested to submit product specifications that shall include: Contractor Information • Name • Address • Point of Contact (POC) • POC and product technical expert phone number(s) and email addresses • CAGE Code • Website, if applicable • A description of relevant product equivalency • Contact information of location where product has been installed and is in use. 4. Contractors capable of providing this product should submit product information within the guidelines stated above in paragraph three (3) via e-mail to the person(s) stated below in paragraph five (5). Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is strictly voluntary. Responses will not be returned. No entitlements to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses, or the Government's use of such information. The information obtained from industries responses to this notice may be used in the development of an acquisition strategy and future RFP. 5. Responses are due no later than 1200 MST, Thursday, 31 May 2012, and shall be electronically submitted to all of the following: SSgt Calvin Courtney at Calvin.courtney@ellsworth.af.mil and Mrs. Cindy Fedorkowicz at cindy.fedorkowicz@ellsworth.af.mil. 6.
