- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time. Military Sealift Command is seeking any eligible businesses that can provide four (4) General Electric (GE) TransforMore catalog Number 9T45G2510 transformer, or equal, suitable for marine duty to provide isolation with SCR controlled motor application, to replace existing obsolete GE Model: Dry Type 9T23B9569, having the following salient characteristics: 750KVA 60HZ, 3PH Weight: 4030 lbs approximate HV: 600VAC Delta (Line-Line) LV: 460VAC Wye (Line-Line) %Imp.: 6% maximum Rated K-20 150 C Rise Frame Size FC67 Copper conductor construction Enclosure type 3R Electrostatic shield Built to satisfy USCG, ABS and IEEE45 standards Modified to provide internal thermal switch activated strip heater (250Watts) Modified to provide visual alarm indication upon internal induction fan failure or temperature rise above design rating. Alarm indication to be available locally and at operating station located no greater than 200 feet from unit. To be used on the USS ZEUS (T-ARC 7). This office anticipates award of a contract on or about 15 July 2012. The appropriate NAICS Code is 334416. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential small business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. It is requested that interested businesses submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities package demonstrating ability to provide the requested item. This document shall also address the following: Company Profile to include number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number, CAGE Code and a statement regarding small business designation and status. Submission of a capabilities statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the Government in tailoring requirement to be consistent with industry.
