Description
PR#: 0044293684; 5962-01-237-0394. Approved source: Lockheed Martin Services, Inc. (1WL60) P/N 4V14031-103A; Microcircuit, Digital. The requirement is for a total quantity of 65 each with a 50% option to equal total quantity of 98. Unit of Issue: Each. Destination information: to be shipped to Robins AFB, Georgia. This solicitation is for a First Article Test Requirement. Delivery schedule: First Article Test Item to be shipped within 280 days and the production quantity 280 days after approval of First Article item. This is an unrestricted procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The RFP will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on its issue date of 06/08/2012. Hard copies of this solicitation are NOT available. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The place of contract performance will be at DLA Land and Maritime, 3990 East Broad Street, Columbus Ohio 43218, United States of America.
