Description
Revised PWS (29 May 2012) Government response to solicitation questions. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation, FA2517-12-T-6035, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). A SITE VISIT will be held at Building 1470 on Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs, CO at 10:00 AM, MST on Tuesday May 22, 2012. Please meet at the West Gate Visitor Center located off Powers Blvd (1334 West Stuart Ave, PAFB) no later than (NLT) 9:30 AM, MST on 22 May 2012 for the site visit. All attendees will be required to provide two forms of ID; one form must be a valid photo ID (i.e. Drivers license, Military ID, Passport or Student ID). Attendance is limited to one (1) person per company; this limitation includes any subcontractor participation planned by the prime. The Offeror is responsible for all travel and billeting costs associated with the site visit and will not be reimbursed by the Government. Any questions that arise after the site visit must be submitted electronically to Bryan Wolford at bryan.wolford.1@us.af.mil with a courtesy copy to MSgt Darrel Ross at Darrell.Ross.1@us.af.mil. Questions must be submitted NLT 4:00 PM MST, Wednesday 23 May 2012, and will be officially responded to as an amendment to the RFQ. Due to increased security requirements, notification of attendees to the Contracting Officer is required NLT Monday 21 May 2012 by 3:00 PM, MST. Required information per site visit attendee is as follows: First Name, Last Name, Middle Initial, and Name of the company being represented by the individual. Please email a courtesy copy of all correspondence to MSgt Darrel Ross at Darrell.Ross.1@us.af.mil. Please ensure site visit attendees have two forms of ID to include a valid picture ID (Driver's license, Military Retiree ID, etc.) in their possession as two forms of ID will be required. Attendees should not carry any cameras, sound recording equipment, backpacks or briefcases. (iii) A statement that the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-58. (iv) This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 484210 and the size standard is $25.5M. (v) The Government's requirement consists of non-personal commercial services, including all labor, parts, tools, equipment, materials and transportation necessary to perform moving services in support of Air Force Global Strike Command Missile Engineer Squadron (AFGSC MES). The commercials services required are being procured as 100% small business set-aside in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Government will award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. (vi) Quote submission: Item identification to include manufacturing part number, pricing information, DUNS, Cage Code, tax ID, terms and conditions. (vii) The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (June 2008). All firms must be registered in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil at time of quote submittal. DUNS, Cage Code, tax ID, terms and conditions shall be submitted with quote. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database at www.ccr.gov in order to be considered for award. The government will not provide contract financing for this acquisition. (viii) FAR 52.212-2(a) Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition (Jan 1999). Quote will be based on the lowest price quote with technical acceptable in accordance with the attached commercial PWS. (ix) The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items, is applicable to this acquisition (Apr 2011).
