- Description
- The work includes placement of stone protection along the riverside of the intermediate lock wall; reconstruction of a portion of the downstream approach apron, including removal and disposal of existing broken concrete apron, underwater excavation and disposal of material, installation of pipe piling and sheet piling from floating plant, and placing tremie concrete to reconstruct the approach apron; and filling voids beneath the remaining portion of downstream approach apron, including drilling holes and an underwater grouting operation to fill remaining voids. In addition, the job will include placing stone protection in scour areas downstream of the dam.
