- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item being procured in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information as included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is solicitation number P12PS22665 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This requirement is a 100% total small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 561730. The small business size standard is $7 million. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36, effective 11 August 2009. Anticipated Award Date: Within 30 days of receiving offers. To be considered for award your company must obtain a Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNs). GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF STATEMENT OF WORK The work of this contract consists of the cutting and removing several hazard trees, limbs, and removal of all wood from River Raisin National Battlefield. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supplies and supervision to successfully perform this contract. The work includes cutting trees, removing dead branches/limbs from tree tops, removal of any limbs or trees that present a hazard to improved public areas i.e. roads, trails and buildings, and removing all cut wood from site, grinding stumps including removal of material, backfilling and planting. A map identifying each tree provided a legend description with size of trees and what performance the park requires i.e. prune back, trim, cut or remove. Quotes are due at 3:00 PM EST, June 13, 2012. Offers may be submitted by fax or email. Questions regarding this solicitation will only be accepted until 12:00 PM EST, June 11, 2012. OFFERS SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1.
