- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21005 has a requirement to procure the following items: CLIN 0001 The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source purchase order to Association of the United States Army (AUSA); 2425 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201. The United States Army has a requirement for the rental of exhibit space, exhibit structure and exhibit accessories and graphics production for the Army's participation in the Eurosatory Exhibition in Paris, France from 11-15 June 2012. AUSA is the sole available source of supply to provide the exhibit space and the on-site rental exhibit equipment for individual US Exhibitors participating at the Eurosatory Exhibition in the US Pavilion. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561920 and the Business Size Standard is $7,000.000. Interested parties may identify their interest in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 11:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time, 4 June 2012. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. TELEPHONE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
