- Project Description The Sioux Falls VA Health Care System campus has a building that has been neglected and is no longer able to be used. Building 21 is becoming a hazard as the building materials have started to deteriorate. The VA would like to remove the building and associated concrete and chain link fence as part of a site beautification initiative. The demolition of building 21 shall include but not limited to the following items. 1.)Removal of structure 2.)Removal of all footings and foundation walls 3.)Removal of bleacher concrete 4.)Removal of chain link fence 5.)Disconnect and Cap all associated utilities 6.)Fill meter pit with fill material approved by the project engineer 7.)Place topsoil and hydro-seed demolished areas The project duration is expected to be 30 days from the date of receipt of the notice to proceed. Electronic solicitation documents will be made available in electronic format only through the VA website at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is recommended that you complete the solicitation mailing list on the website before downloading the solicitation. This procurement is 100% set-aside for SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB). Prospective contractors must be registered and current in the VetBiz Registry website prior to submitting bid: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. Prospective contractors must be registered and current in the CCR and ORCA websites prior to award: http://www.ccr.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov. Bids will only be accepted from responsible and responsive contractors. The firm must be a General Construction firm approved under NAICS code 236220-size standard is $33.5 million. The estimated dollar value of this procurement is less than $25,000.00. Amendments to this solicitation will be posted at the FedBizOpps website as well. In order to receive e-mail notification of amendments, you must register in FedBizOpps. Bidders are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time of bid closing.
