- The Corpus Christi Army Depot is conducting a market survey looking for sources/vendors that can provide a modular paint facility with paint booths and other related painting equipment at the Aircraft Corrosion Control Facility (ACCF), Corpus Christi, Tx, 78419. THIS RFI IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool (FAR Part 10) being used to determine potential large and small business firms capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. It is also a tool to get feedback on the requirement, detailed in the "DRAFT" Statement of Work. Feedback is strongly encouraged and appreciated. Respondents are encouraged to review the statement of work and provide comments. All interested parties are advised that the Department of Army will not pay for any information or any other administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from Industry in response to this Market Survey/Request for Information. Therefore, any costs associated with the Market Survey/Request for Information submissions will be solely at the interested vendor's expense. Costs provided are for market survey/informational purposes only and shall not be considered as an offer to do business. Response to this Market Survey: Any information provided under this market survey is for informational purposes only and will NOT be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. No evaluation of vendors will occur and vendor participation in ANY informational sessions is not a promise of future business with the Department of Army, Corpus Christi Army Depot. All responses (one response per company) are to be provided on company letterhead. No type font less than 12 point may be used. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 P.M., Central Standard Time on June 29th 2012. Market survey responses received after the time and date specified will be determined to be late and may not be considered. All responses must include the following information: Company Name; Company Address; Company Business Size; and Point-of-Contact (POC) name, phone number, and e-mail address. The Corpus Christi Army Depot intends to review all response submittals to establish the acquisition strategy. Responses to this market survey will also be used to determine if there is adequate competition to set the requirement aside for small business, or open it up for full and open competition. This survey will support market research obtained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only. The NAICS code for this effort is 332311 "Prefabricated metal buildings and component manufacturing" with a size standard of 500 employees. In order to make this determination the Corpus Christi Army Depot requires the following from interested vendors: (1) company profile to include number of employees, annual revenue history, office location(s), DUNS number, and a statement regarding current small/large business status; (2) prior/current corporate experience performing efforts of similar size and scope within the last three years, including contract number, organization supported, indication of whether as a prime or subcontractor, contract values, Government point of contact with current telephone number, and a brief description of how the referenced contract relates to the services described herein; (3) resources available such as corporate management and currently employed personnel to be assigned to tasks under this effort to include professional qualifications, specific experience of such personnel, and the ability to have personnel located at the city specified; (4) management approach to staffing this effort with qualified personnel; (5) statement regarding capability to obtain the required industrial security clearances for personnel. (6) statement regarding capability to meet surge demand, as highlighted and discussed in this document (7) company's ability to perform at least 51% of the work; and (8) company's ability to begin performance upon contract award. The Corpus Christi Army Depot prefers that all submittals, including attachments, be submitted electronically to the email address shown below. Submissions may be provided in a portable document format (pdf); however, Microsoft Word is acceptable as well. Responses must not exceed a total of 30 pages.
