- NASA/LARC has a requirement for Vacuum Gauge Controllers, Inficon VGC403 Part Number: 398-021 Qty: Seven(7) EA; Vacuum Gauge to Controller Instrument Cables, Inficon Part Number: BCG-450 to VGC403; (398-525)Length: 30M Qty: One(1); 398-523 Length: 15M, Qty: Two(2); 398-521 Length: 5m, Qty Two(2); Inficon PSG-550 to VGC403; (398-505)Length: 30m, Qty: Four(4); 398-503 :Length: 15m Qty Four(4); (398-501) Length: 5m, Qty: Two(2); Bayard-Alpert, Pirani Capacitance Diaphragm 3N1 Combination Vacuum Gauge, (Inficon BCG-450 (353-552) Qty: Six (6)EA; Pirani Vacuum Gauge (Inficon PSG-550 (3PII-016-1100) Qty: Eleven(11) EA; Pirani Vacuum Gauge (Inficon Pilot Plus (710-202-G27) Qty: Nine(9). NASA/LARC intends to purchase the items from Inficon Inc. Inficon is the only Vacuum Instrumentatin Company that manufactures a Bayard-Alpert, Pirani, Capacitance Diaphragm 3N1 Combination Vacuum Gauge, that is capable of providing the measurement range and accurancy requirements the TVAC-Lab needs to support current and future TVAC Lab testing requirements currently in use at LaRC. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on 06/07/2012.Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not] acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
