- Description
- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) has a requirement for GP-26 and GP 20 (General Purpose - 26 km and 20 km) Aerological Sounding Balloons for the NWS upper air network. Solicitation DG133W12RP0101 will be issued on or about June 15, 2012 and will close on or about July 17, 2012. The Government plans to make one or more fixed price awards on an Indefinite Quantity basis with an ordering period of at least 24 months. The minimum ordering quantity for all awards combined will be at least 300 balloons. The maximum ordering quantity for all awards combined will be 160,000 balloons. The Government will not unilaterally require deliveries to commence sooner than 75 days after placement of an order. The destination for deliveries will be the National Logistics Support Center in Kansas City, Missouri. One or more items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency.
