- Questions and Answers - Second Round. Answers are in response to Tactical Power Supplies PP-6224D/U and PP-2953E/U Market Survey 5281-1 posted on 25 May 2012. #1 Question - If your company is awarded the contract, will you be able to perform at least 50% of the work required in house? From industry--"Is the question in regards to FAR 52.219-14 Section C of the Limitations on Subcontracting?" Answer-This question is based on the Limitations on Subcontracting clause FAR 52.219-14. #2 Question - Can your company go without payment for 90 days? From Industry--"Is this question in regards to making sure that (interested offeror) has the financial capability for this solicitation, and will the Prompt Payment Act still apply (Net30 Days)?" Answer-Question is based on FAR clause 52.232-25 Prompt Payment. #3. Question-"I had sent requests to (contract specialist) to obtain those drawings, but haven't gotten an answer." Answer-Please send request for drawings to Ms. Bobbi Baldwin, at Roberta.C.Baldwin.civ@mail.mil to request the drawings. NOTES: IAW FAR 15.201(b), The purpose of exchanging information is to improve the understanding of Government requirements and industry capabilities, thereby allowing potential offerors to judge whether or how they can satisfy the Government's requirements, and enhancing the Government's ability to obtain quality supplies and services, including construction, at reasonable prices, and increase efficiency in proposal preparation, proposal evaluation, negotiation, and contract award. This Question and Answers posting is for information purposes only; no response is required. The solicitation issuance date is postponed until further notice.
