- Renovate Public Courtyard Bldg. 520 Palo Alto Health Care System Project #640-12-137P Department of Veterans Affairs Network 21 Consolidated Contracting will be issuing an Invitation for Bid for a General Construction Contractor for the project Renovate Public Courtyard Bldg. 520 at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System located at 3801 Miranda Ave., Palo Alto, California 94304. Work shall include a 10,540 square foot courtyard landscaping of the public courtyard area outside the administrative wing of Building 520. The renovation of this area will include, but is not limited to, building planters, installing benches and tables, planting trees and shrubs, installing paving and walkways, installing footings and other supports for artwork, and installing lighting, irrigation, and drainage. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and transportation to complete the work. Work is to be completed within 90 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This IFB will be a total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Offers will only be accepted from certified SDVO Small Businesses. This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents will be available on or about June 12, 2012. The solicitation will contain proposal instructions. A Pre-Proposal Conference and Project Site Visit is tentatively scheduled for June 19th, 2012 at the Palo Alto facility from 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon. Exact location will be published in the solicitation. Please confirm date and time in the posted solicitation. This conference is highly recommended. Estimated project cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00.
