- Description
- The 5th Contracting Squadron has a requirement for leasing tower space for MOSCAD circuits for support of Land Mobile Radio coverage in the Minot AFB, ND Missile Field. These leased circuits must be able to send signals to Minot AFB from the Kilo Missile Alert Facility, the Parshall Repeater site, and the South Base Repeater site. The 5th Contracting Squadron intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The 5th Contracting Squadron intends to enter into a firm, fixed-price contract with Souris River Telecommunications, Inc (SRT). The NAICS code for this procurement is 517210 with a size standard not to exceed 1,500 employees. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
