Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration has a requirement for Nonrecurring Maintenance Projects for Flag Pole/Concrete Pad at the Raleigh National Cemetery, 501 Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh, NC 27610 (Project #873-NRM12-012), and Wilmington National Cemetery, 2011 Market Street, Wilmington, NC 28403 (Project #881-NRM12-013). The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, supervision, and equipment to remove existing 70' lead base painted flagpoles, existing concrete bases, and install new concrete bases with supporting accessories and new 70' aluminum flagpoles at each location. The estimated magnitude of this work is between $25,000 and $100,000.00. A 20% Bid Bond and 100% payment bond or irrevocable letter of credit is required. The NAICS Code is 238110 with a small business size standard of $14 million dollars. This is a 100% total set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Bidders must be validated in VetBizOpps. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 19. Bids are due June 29, 2012, 3:00 pm (EST).
