- This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The purpose of this notice is to announce that the Veterans Affairs (VA) Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS), Healthcare for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) program, 901 Rancho Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89106, has a requirement to provide homeless Veterans with Transitional Housing Services. Services are to be provided for male, female, or both male and female Veterans, or Veterans with children, who are homeless and for whom such care is specifically authorized by the VA. Veterans may have specific mental health or substance abuse issues and some may also be mobility impaired. It is understood that the Veterans to be cared for under this resulting contract will require care and services above the level of room and board. A solicitation shall be issued on or about July 5, 2012 with proposals due no later than August 3, 2012 at 4:00pm Pacific Time. All interested parties must respond to that solicitation. A response to this notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Telephonic responses will not be entertained.
