- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: This is a sources sought announcement being released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 - Market Research. Although a Request for Proposal (RFP) is anticipated to be released within the next two months, this Sources Sought Notice is issued solely to identify potential prime Small Business contractor sources and determine their capabilities to fulfill the Government's requirement listed below. This notice does not constitute an RFP or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Sources Sought. All costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought will be solely at the respondents' expense. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this Sources Sought. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Contractor shall provide all personnel, management, supervision, transportation and any other materials and services necessary to perform the functions of the attached draft Performance Work Statement (to retrieve, click on the Additional Info link below). The place of performance will be at Headquarters Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) located at Scott Air Force Base, IL 62225. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541990--All other professional, scientific and technical services. The small business size standard is $14.0M. The anticipated contract type is a firm-fixed price contract consisting of a base period with two (2) option year periods. INSTRUCTIONS / DEADLINE FOR RESPONDENTS: If you believe that your company has existing qualified personnel, relevant past experience, and the technical capability to perform these type of services as a PRIME CONTRACTOR, please submit the following information: 1. Company Name, DUNS and CAGE Code; 2. Company point of contact; 3. Business Size and current Socioeconomic Category (e.g. Women-owned small business) as it relates to NAICS 541990; 4. Capabilities statement describing the ability to perform the services described above along with past similar scope and relevance within the past 5 years.
