- Specs for Inactive Dried Yeast, Primary Grown Statement of Work for Inactive Dried Yeast, Primary Grown The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Fruit Fly Rearing Facility, Moore Air Base, Edinburg Texas, has a need for primary grown inactive dried yeast for deliveries to Edinburg, Texas and Phoenix, AZ. This product will be used in the production of sterile Mexican fruit flies. This procurement will be awarded as a commercial supply, firm-fixed-price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract, for a period not to exceed 5 years. FOB destination. NAICS Code is 311999 and Size Standard is 500 employees. The Request for Proposal number is to be determined, and will be released on or about July 9, 2012.
