Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. W912EE-12-T-0015 is being issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ) with the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation will be competed on a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside basis. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 484220 (SIC 4212). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Vicksburg District has a requirement for : Line Item 0001- RENTAL OF A 24' REFRIGERATED TRUCK FOR 175 DAYS In accordance with the attached Specifications (Attachment 1). An award for this acquisition will be provided to the vendor whose quote is the Lowest Priced of those determined to be Technically Qualified. Technically Qualified is defined as: 1)Providing Rental Equipment that at least meets the minimum specifications as defined in (Attachment 1) 2)Satisfactory experience with providing and delivering Refrigerated Trucks of similar size, scope, and complexity 3)Satisfactory past performance (delivery within the past 3 years) It is the vendor's responsibility to submit the following so the Government can evaluate the offeror's technical acceptability: 1) Sufficient information to determine the quality of the equipment in accordance with the specification requirements as defined in (Attachment 1) 2) The vendor must provide proof of experience for 3 or more similar jobs 3) The vendor must provide Past Performance contact information from 3 or more jobs completed in the past 3 years of similar size, scope, and complexity.
