Description
Bill of materials COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. The solicitation document, FA8604-12-M-7527, is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) and incorporates FAR provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-58, 18 May 2012 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement DPN 20120522 dated 22 May 2012. This solicitation incorporates the following clauses by reference: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.204-7, 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) 252.204-7004 - Alternate A, 252.211-7003, 252.212-7001, and 252.227-7013. This acquisition is for Apple Mac Pro Workstation. Please see the attached requirements description for all specifications. The Air Force requires that respondents propose open market pricing only. Please note the following: The associated NAICS code is 334111, small business size standard is: 1,000 employees. This is not a small-business set aside. FOB point: Destination Delivery: NLT Thirty (30) days after receipt of order All information regarding the acquisition will be posted on the World Wide Web at http://www.fbo.gov. Requirements, as segregated in the BOM, will be shipped to the following destination: AFRL/RBOI 2130 8th Street Area B, Building 45, Room 062 WPAFB, OH 45433 All items must be priced in order to be considered a complete, responsive quote. All computer equipment must be TAA compliant. The government will select the lowest priced technically acceptable quote. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Quotes are due no later than 12:00 PM (EST), 13 JUN 2012 to the buyer listed below. (a) Cynthia Evoniuk has been appointed as Ombudsman. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the Ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The Ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. (b) Before consulting with an Ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution. Consulting an Ombudsman does not alter or postpone the timelines for any other processes (e.g. agency level bid protests, GAO bid protests, requests for debriefings, employee-employer actions, contests of OMB Circular A-76 competition performance decisions).
