Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Carl Zeiss Microscopy, One Zeiss Drive, Thornwood, NY 10594, for continued maintenance of Zeiss equipment: two (2) Axio Observer A1 stand manual, S/N 3832000397 and 3832000410; Axio Observer Z1 stand mot, S/N 3834000789; ApoTome slider (no serial listed); two (2) Axiovert 40 C stand, S/N 3825001876 and 3825002082; three (3) Axiover 40 C stand, S/N 3825003159, 3825003122, and 3825003158; two (2) Axio Observer A1 stand manual, S/N 3832000370 and 3832000371; and Scanhhead LSM 710, S/N 2502000480. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may use e-mail to identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement before the expiration date of the advertisement.
