Description
The contractor is responsible for providing two (2) fully operational color copiers that are of equivalent quality and capacity as the Xerox Workcenter 5745 series for use during the Southern Accord 2012 Exercise at Thebephatshwa Airfield, Botswana. The copier will be used to make copies only. A computer or laptop will not be connected to the copier through a network. The contractor is not required to provide paper for the copier. The contractor is responsible for providing one (1) fully operational paper shredder that meets NSA/CSS Specification 02-01 (Security Level 6) for destroying documents. a) Level 6 Shredder: (i)Only shredders with a security level 6 rating meet the requirements of NSA/CSS Specification 02-01 and are classified as being NSA/CSS approved. Shred particles generated by these shredders have an area equal to or smaller than approximately 1/32" x 5/32" or 1mm x 5mm. Some shredders use an alternate cut pattern that generates particles with an area equal to 1/26" x 1/5", which is still acceptable for level 6 classification and NSA/CSS approval. The contractor is responsible for delivering, setting up and maintaining the copiers and shredder, ensuring that they are operational during the period of performance. The Contractor will deliver and set up the copiers and shredder on the 30 July 2012. The contracting officer representative (COR) will contact the contractor no later than 27 July 2012 to establish a specific set-up time and location on Botswana Airfield. Set up includes providing the electrical cords and plugs (to include adapters) needed to operate the copiers. The copiers and shredder will be compatible with electric outlets in Botswana. The contractor shall provide on-site service for the copiers and shredder on 6 August and 13 August 2012 to ensure equipment is functioning properly. The contractor shall provide all required consumable supplies for the copiers and shredder. Consumables shall consist of and are not limited to toner, developer, printer heads, black and color cartridges, and lubricants. Consumable does not include paper. The contractor shall replenish consumable supplies based on the estimated use of 1,000 paper copies per day for each copier and 1,500 sheets of shredded paper per day for the shredder. The contractor will remove the copiers and shredder on 18 August 2012.
