- Repair five 16" discharge, TARPON DR, ditchrider-style trailer pumps manufactured by Gator Pump, Inc. All five pumps were completely submerged in water while running at full RPM. At a minimum, the repair work will include: 1. Replace each unit's diesel engine with a new or remanufactured diesel 150 HP engine (minimum). Diesel engines vary by unit but are either Deutz BF6L913 or BF6L914C, rated at approximately 150 HP. Vendors shall provide a copy of the engine warranty with their quote. Remanufactured engines shall be rebuilt to original Deutz specifications or equivalent. Parts are considered equal if they meet the same performance, quality, and reliability standards as OEM parts. Vendors quoting remanufactured engines shall provide a statement of all tasks/repairs performed on the engines during the remanufacturing process. All core charges shall be credited to Reclamation and shall be included in the quote. 2. Replacement or refurbishment of all engine control components necessary for proper operation such as PTO clutch assembly, starter, alternator, battery, electronic control panel, exhaust stack, and muffler. 3. Complete installation of the engine to the pumping unit. As a minimum, this will include mounting to the trailer frame, coupling to the transmission, pulley alignment, drive belt replacement (where necessary), and fuel line replacement (where necessary). 4. Some fabrication and repair of the trailer frames and damaged components of each unit could be necessary. This will vary by unit, but will generally include some weld repair, minor steel fabrication, drive belt shroud repair or replacement, driveshaft straightening or replacement on at least one unit, tire repair, and recoating of any steel exposed during the repair process. Some specific damage we are aware of: 5. Pump #2 has broken fuel tank motor mount 6. Pump #3 has broken fuel tank motor mount 7. Pump #4 has broken fuel tank motor mount 8. Pump #5 has missing adjustable support leg -provide new leg 9. All fuel tanks will need to be flushed and cleaned 10. All pumps will require new batteries and possibly new pulley belts The above listed items are not meant to be comprehensive. Each unit suffered varying degrees of damage.
