Description

This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for proposal or quotes. This document does not obligate the Government to award a contract. The purpose of this document is not to provide notice of the Government's intent to post a future solicitation. Responses to this announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After the responses to this announcement are reviewed the Government may issue a Request for Proposals solicitation for interventional radiology services under NAICS code 621111. All interested offerors will have to respond to the formal solicitation announcement in order to be considered eligible for selection. The Department of Veterans Affairs Cheyenne Medical Center, Wyoming is seeking sources for an interventional radiologist to provide care to patients of the Veterans Affairs Hospital. The hospital requires a licensed medical doctor (MD) who possesses an American College of Radiology General Diagnostic Certification as well as is board certified in interventional radiology. This Contractor shall furnish up to approximately 400 scheduled hours of on-site service and up to 5500 hours of 24/7 call coverage per year. On-site interventional radiology services will include a variety of radiological examinations such as: miscellaneous interventional and special procedures, Cat Scan/Ultra Sound guided biopsies and drainages, Gastrointestinal (GI), and Gastro Urinary (GU) interventional studies. The intended period of service would be one year, with four option periods. If you are interested and capable in providing the required services please provide the described information. If small does your firm qualify as a small disadvantaged business; 3.) If disadvantaged please specify under what group and if you are Section 8a Certified; 4.) Is your firm a certified "Hub-zone" firm; 5.) Is your firm a woman-owned business; 6.) Is your firm a certified service-disabled veteran owned small business, or a veteran owned small business? Responses to this notice shall be emailed to the attention of Adina Torberntsson, Department of Veterans Affairs at adina.torberntsson@va.gov. Responses must be received no later than 5:00PM MST Friday June 22, 2012.
