Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment Contracting Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking offers from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services. The contractors will provide services within a 10 mile radius of the U.S. Postal Service, located at 1701 South Westmount Drive, Farmington, MO 63640 and the location should be accessible to local transportation. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one year base period to begin on October 1, 2012 with four (4) one-year option renewal periods with services ending (if all options are renewed) on September 30, 2017. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three, and Option Year Four respectively. The Following services are required and may be sub-contracted to another licensed contractor. The requirements for Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment and Mental Health Services for male and female Federal offenders include: Base Year: Estimated number of inmates = 50 Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 40 inmates = 40 assessments Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units (per inmate) x 40 = 1,920 units Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 40 = 2,880 units Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 8 units (per inmate) x 4 = 32 units Individual Transportation = 1 round trip per week inmate x 50 inmates = 50 trips Mental Health Intake and Assessment (one per inmate) for 10 inmates = 10 units Individual Mental Health Counseling (30 minutes =1 unit) 48 units per inmate for 10 inmates = 480 units Group Mental Health Counseling (30 minutes =1 unit) 72 units per inmate for 10 inmates = 720 units Medication Monitoring (1 unit per inmate) for 5 inmates = 5 monitoring units Psychological Evaluation & Report (one per 2011 No Master's Required. The request for proposals will be available on or after June 28, 2012 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the proposal will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including proposal amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about July 19, 2012. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/proposals equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. All responsible business concerns may submit an offer which will be considered by this agency.
