Description
Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) will be procuring follow-on technical engineering services and hardware. During FY13 and early FY14, this procurement will provide systems engineering services to support the integration of the TRIDENT II (D5) missile and reentry subsystems into the Common Missile Compartment (CMC) for the OHIO SSBN Replacement and United Kingdom Successor programs. This includes program management and facility design activities for the SWS Ashore facility. Through FY17, the procurement will also provide hardware deliverables in support of the CMC effort and required Special Test Vehicles, and engineering design and development deliverables pertaining to a Missile Service Unit. This effort is inextricably linked to work already being performed by Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company under Contracts N00030-10-C-0043 and N00030-12-C-0100, which SSP awarded using other than full and open competition. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
