- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is P12PS25197 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). No further notice will be posted on Fedbizopps and hard copies will not be mailed. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-58. Award will be based on 'best value' to the government. This is a total small business set aside with NAICs code 334514. Vendor must do business under this NAICS code. The small business size standard is 500. Vendor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov to receive an award. Yosemite National Park has a requirement to install new and retrofit existing electric meters, water meters and propane meters for remote radio read (End point) capability. This is a material only purchase. All devices and software shall be compatible with the Park's current meter reading and billing equipment and software (Able Software's Utility Star). Product shall integrate seamlessly with current equipment and software and shall use the Park's existing Versaterm handheld computers and readers as applicable. The vendor shall have a permanent full-time, completely qualified and trained staff, located witin a 300 hundred mile radius of Yosemite National Park for a maximum of one day travel time and available for emergency call outs and onsite troubleshooting.
