- NASA/NSSC intends to purchase the below curriculum from One21Five, Inc, 3422 Old Capitol Trl #1300, Wilmington, DE 19808. Pursuant to FAR 13.106(b), the acquisition of these services has been determined to be reasonably available from only one source. NASA/NSSC has a requirement for a training program entitled Team Dynamics. The objective of the program is to continue to build on training that was provided under an initial offering developed jointly for the pilot year of the Leadership University program by the Human Capital Development Branch and Alexander Caillet.This offering will cover the following topics: Introduction to teams at NASA Team Basics Team Types Team Ownership Team Leadership Team Life Cycles Human Dynamics Team Identity Goals & Performance This offering shall be held at NASAs Glenn Research Center for one week in September 2012. Competition is impractical for the following reasons: The training is a logical follow-on of previous training performed as part of the Leadership University Program.For the purposes of consistency and continuity, it is imperative to acquire the same training for the program. The teaching tactics and core curriculum of the training must be compatible with the prior session in order to ensure the same information is delivered and the same results are achieved. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using the procedures in FAR Part 13.106. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 3:00 p.m. central standard time on July 2, 2012.Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
