- This is a sources sought notice. Sierra Army Depot is conducting market research to determine the interest and capability of any firm eligible to compete under NAICS 333913 that has a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees for an upcoming requirement for 120K and 300K kits for the Fuel System Supply Point (FSSP). This is not a solicitation. All costs associated with providing information as requested by this sources sought notice shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Submission is voluntary. This requirement will be for a firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract for 120K and 300K FSSP kits. Each FSSP kit includes the following (exact quantities are not listed): 4" displacement and evacuation kit, fuel spill control kit, self-driving ground rod assembly, plastic pallets, nozzle and valve stand assembly, 4Fx4Fx4M tee assembly, 4Fx4Mx4F tee assembly, 4Fx4Mx4M tee assembly, 4Mx4Mx4F tee assembly, 4" butterfly valve (LH-F, RH-M), 4" gate valve assembly type II (LH-F, RH-M), 4" hose repair kit, 4"x10' discharge hose assembly, 4"x25' discharge hose assembly, 4"x10' suction hose assembly, case assembly with D-1 4M coupling nozzle assembly, case assembly with 4" in-line strainers, case assembly with 3Fx3F adapters, case assembly with 4Fx4F adapters, case assembly with NATO tank truck coupling set, case assembly with NATO rail tanker couplings, case assembly with 4Mx3F reducer and D-1 4M coupling nozzle assembly, case assembly with 4Fx3M reducers, case assembly with 1"fuel and oil service nozzle with pressure reg., 2Fx1.5M reducer, and 2" QDISC class 150 ball valve assembly (LH-F, RH-M), case assembly with 4Fx2M reducer and 1.5"fuel and oil nozzle, case assembly with closed circuit refueling nozzles, case assembly with 2" valved dry break tees, case assembly with M-QDISC x 2" valved dry break adapters and D-1 with 2" unisex adapter with 45 PSI regulator refueling nozzle, case assembly with type 1 class 2 size 20 fire extinguisher, 4Mx3" unisex adapter and 4Fx3" unisex adapter, case assembly with 1.5"dust cap coupling half and male half NATO adapter or tank unit, case assembly with 3Mx3M adapters, 4Mx4M adapters and female half NATO standard adapters, case assembly with 3" dust cap coupling half, 4" dust cap coupling half and 3" dust plug coupling half, case assembly with 4" dust cap coupling half and 3" dust cap coupling half, case assembly with NATO tank truck coupling set, one set of tank volume meters (comprised of an inlet meter, outlet meter, connecting cable and a DRO packaged in a case). There is no technical data package at this time. The configuration of the FSSP kits is owned by and proprietary to one contractor, however, the parts themselves are not and Sierra wants to determine if there are any sources that are capable of offering these parts for the FSSP kits. Interested and capable firms are invited to submit a response in writing to this announcement. The response shall include: 1)Name of the firm including the DUNS number, 2)Business size status, 3)A description of similar supplies the firm has offered to the Government in the past. All responses must be submitted no later than July 20, 2012 at 3:00pm PST via email to megan.n.barr.civ@mail.mil. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market research. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted to Federal Business Opportunities website and no paper copies will be provided.
