VA Outpatient Clinic, Mobile, AL The Department of Veterans Affairs Seeks Expressions of Interest for a site for 65,125 Net Usable Square Feet of Clinical Space in Mobile, AL General Information Document type:Presolicitation Notice Solicitation Number: VA-101-12-R-0133 Posted Date: June 27, 2012 Original Response Date: July 20, 2012 Current Response Date:--- Original Response Date:--- Original Archive Date:--- Current Archive Date:--- Classification Code: X-Lease or rental of facilities Set Aside: N/A Contracting Office Address Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Construction & Facilities Management (003C1E), 425 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001 Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to acquire a no cost, transferable purchase option for a site upon which a leased outpatient clinic may be constructed in the Mobile, Alabama area. VA will also consider acceptance of a donated site. It is VA ™s intention to have the building constructed by a private-sector entity that will purchase the land and lease the facility to VA for up to 20 years. VA will consider properties in the range of 10 to 14 developable acres. The property must be available for use, and be capable of accommodating a 65,125 net usable square clinic building on one (1) level, but no more than two (2) stories, with on-site parking for approximately 521 vehicles. All utilities and fiber optic cable must be available on-site. For further information concerning the requirement, please e-mail Mr. Garland Gill at ggill@isiwdc.com. Location: The site must be located within the following delineated area: North boundary “ On or South of Moffett Road, On or East of I-65 to Airport Blvd, On or South of Airport Blvd to County Road 163 South boundary “ On or North of County Road 30 and 26 East boundary “ On or West of County Road 163 (aka Dauphin Island Parkway) West boundary - On or East of County Road 31/Schillinger Road Offeror must provide evidence that the property is outside the 100-year flood plain. Acceptable approval products are a Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) from the FEMA website. This map must be the latest issued and include the panel number. EXPRESSIONS SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND MUST BE RECEIVED ELETRONICALLY NO LATER THAN 5 pm EASTERN ON July 20, 2012. 1. Development site address and owner ™s contact information. 2. Scaled site drawings. 3. Proof of ownership or written permission to represent the site. 4. Current zoning to support medical use or current owner to complete rezoning for VA. 5. Available acreage. Note: The government will enter into an assignable option for no more than the appraised fair market value for the site.
