Amendment 01: This is an amendment to subject solicitation posted in FEDBiz Opps on 22 June 2012. Closing date and time remains unchanged as 29 June 2012; 1:00 PM CST. This amendment is issued to answer the following: Question 1: The attached information regarding the new Wage Determination for the Federal Government means that any hotel not offering the pay and/ or vacation times mentioned does not qualify for this business? Answer: IAW WDOL.gov User's Guide (ver.6.0); Application of SCA, SCA establishes standards for prevailing compensation and safety and health protections for employees performing work for contractors and subcontractors on service contracts entered into with the federal government and with the District of Columbia. SCA provisions are applicable to contracts the principal purpose of which is to provide services in the United States through the use of service employees. Government contracts need to abide by the laws and regulations set by the Department of Labor. The wage determination for the specified labor categories is the minimum wage for the specific category. Question 2: I would like to know if I could use two different contracts for two hotels we have. I can accommodate the rooms between my two hotels. Answer: Yes; if you have separate CCR registrations for each hotel location you will need to submit two separate quotes for each property. Question 3: Please advise where the location is in Jacksonville Florida so we can determine if we are within 12 miles of the location and therefore qualify. Answer: The solicitation is changed as follows: From: "Rooms must be located in 12 miles in proximity Jacksonville, FL." To: "Rooms must be located within 12 miles proximity to Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, FL." (4) Additional Information: Questions are due by 11:00 AM CST, 28 June 2012.
