- The VA Heartland Network 15 supporting the Office of Readjustment Counseling Service, St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking Lodging and Conference facilities with on-site service, on-site restaurant, and audiovisual equipment for the weeks of July 23 “ July 27, 2012; July 30 “ August 3, 2012, August 13 “ August 17, 2012, August 20, 2012 through August 24, 2012 for Annual Training for Readjustment Counseling Service to be held in the Saint Louis County, Missouri area. As a Federal Government entity, the VA is required to take maximum advantage of all applicable tax exemptions and must also limit charges to the Government Lodging and/or per diem rates for the area. The host hotel will charge all staff at the government per diem rate for their room, which stands at $104. It is anticipated that the hotel shall block 50 to 100 rooms for this requirement. This procurement is being issued unrestricted, full and open competition. The NAICS code is 721110 and the business size standard is $30 Million. This is a requirement for event planning services. An offer which requires the Government to execute a separate agreement with a third party shall be deemed technically unacceptably. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The government may elect to award services to one or more sources under this solicitation. Proposals will be evaluated on best value and past performance in accordance with the evaluation criteria in the solicitation. Request for Proposal will be available on or about June 26, 2012. Due date for receipt of offers is July 6, 1:00 p.m. CST. Anticipated award date is July 13, 2012.
