Description

DISA/DITCO intends to issue a Sole Source contract to BMC Software, Inc. This acquisition is for brand name BMC software maintenance supporting 183,160 BMC brand name software licenses for the DISA ESD infrastructure. The contract will provide maintenance Levels 1,2, and 3 on a 24 hour x 365 days a year basis to ensure round the clock operability of ESD's Standard Operating Environment which supports DISA, the DOD and other Agencies. The Period of Performance will be a one-year base period beginning 1 October 201, followed by the availability of four one-year option periods. The statutory authority for Sole Source is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), and the regulatory authority is FAR 6.3021. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed priced contract. Questions and Answers are provided below. No further questions are being entertained by the Government. Question: Provide the current BMC support contract ID number(s) applicable to the solicitation. Answer: BMC support contract ID numbers are not applicable. Mainframe Service Management (MSM) only products are applicable to the requirement.
