- Fifteen Mile Creek Boat Ramp Improvements: The work for this contract is located at Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park (CHOH), Fifteen Mile Creek Boat Ramp, Little Orleans, Allegany County, MD. The Work includes construction of a boat ramp, parking areas, imbricated rip rap, demolition, erosion control measures and miscellaneous items to rehabilitate the Fifteen Mile Creek Boat Ramp facility. The estimated magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Type of award will be a firm-fixed price construction. The Davis-Bacon Act wage determinations will apply. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.502-2, Total small business set-asides, this procurement is 100-percent set-aside for small business concerns. The Small business size standard is $33.5 million. A small business concern is defined as a concern (including all of its subsidiaries) having less than or equal to $33.5 million annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. The solicitation along with attachments will be issued electronically and downloadable at http://ideasec.nbc.gov or http://www.fbo.gov on or about July 12, 2012. No hard copies will be issued. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation, Section L, clause 52.236-27 Alt 1, Site Visit (Construction). To receive a government award, prospective offerors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and should complete Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of solicitation. Actual date will be established at the time solicitation documents are available. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
