Description
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR OPTICAL WINDOWS AND MIRRORS. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to modify the required specifications for Line Item 1 and Line Item 3 as follows: ***Line Item 1 (Qty 4 Each): 1. The substrate should be Fused Silica equivalent to Corning 7980. 2. The surface quality: 80/50 3. Flatness: 1/20 wave over any 6' diameter. 4. Size: 17.00 inches +0, -.02' 5. Surface 1 should be wedged 30 arc-sec +/- 5arc-sec 6. Clear aperture should be 16.5' 7. Coating to be applied to both surfaces: Anti- Reflection with.25%R for 2051nm 8. Angle of incidence for the coating is 0 9. Polarization: linear 10. The edge should be beveled 0.1' at 45 11. The thickness shall be 1.25' +/-.005' ***Line Item 3 (Qty 2 Each): 1. 24 inches+/-0.02' by 4'+/-.01'' thick Front surface mirror 2. Clear aperture 23' 3. Mirror surface coated with protected silver >98% Reflective at 45 for 2050nm 4. Surface flatness: 1/10 wave over any 6' diameter 5. Chamfer : 0.1' at 45 6. Optical damage threshold 2-3J/cm2 7. Material: BK7 The due date for receipt of offers is extended to 07/06/2012. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on 07/06/2012.
