This effort is sole source to The Boeing Company Route 291 & Stewart Avenue, Ridley Park, PA 19078-1099 (CAGE 77272). The requirement is for Contractor Field Service Representatives (CFSRs) specialized in the CH-47F Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS). Authority and Justification for other than full and open competition is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 because the proposed contract action is for services for which the Government has Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements to permit full and open competition. The CFSR shall provide advice and guidance to CH-47F General Support Aviation Battalion, Aviation Support Battalion, Depot maintainers in order to attain and sustain maximum operational readiness for the maintenance of CAAS test equipment and aircraft components. Firms that can accomplish the above requirement are encouraged to identify themselves and provide supporting evidence to permit participation in current and future solicitations. Firms are encouraged to see source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/CMO/ and looking under qualification procedures for aviation requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and maybe adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation.
