Description
This is a Sources Sought announcement for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement wil be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Installations West, Camp Pendleton, California, is seeking non-personal training services from a College or University in the Southern California area to provide courseware development and academic platform instruction on Residential Electrical Wiring-Construction Technology to Marines with a basic knowledge in electrical wiring. Colleges or Universities in the following counties will be considered: Orange, Riverside, and San Diego, and shall be within 50 miles of Camp Pendleton. The period of performance will consist of a 1 year base period and 4 1-year option periods. There will be approximately 6 sessions per year, to be taught on campus, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, for 3 weeks or 120 hours of instruction to include lab. There will be approximately 20 students per class. The Instructor shall have at a minimum a Bachelor's degree and/or completion of a Construction Certificate Program. Responses to this announcement must include a course syllabus, a tentative schedule, college accreditation information, and textbook information. Syllabus should include subjects related to the latest NEC standards, component identification, terminology, etc. Responses shall be submitted to Mr. Marty W. Hammonds at marion.hammonds@usmc.mil.
