- Description
- ConservationSpace Build Project Workflow ConservationSpace Build Project Overview The National Gallery of Art (NGA) (also the "Gallery") is conducting a market survey to determine the technical capability of qualified firms and universities that can provide a developer to implement an open-source software application that serves the need of the conservation community, to be known as the ConservationSpace (see attachment Conservation Space Build Call for Qualifications). This request is for interested firms and universities with the capability of providing the service. Interested firms and universities are requested to submit a cover sheet and address the following areas: 1) firm overview; 2) understanding of core technical issues; and 3) relevant experience (see attachment Conservation Space Build Call for Qualifications see Section 5 - Submission Instructions and Conditions). The Gallery will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this synopsis nor will it reimburse the firms and universities for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. This synopsis does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ); Request for Proposal (RFP); an Invitation for Bid (IFB); nor does this issuance restrict the Gallery's acquisition approach. Confidentiality - No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Gallery reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s). DISCLAIMER AND IMPORTANT NOTES: This notice does not obligate the Gallery to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Gallery reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any firm or university responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Gallery to determine the firm's or university's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Gallery is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in Federal Business Opportunities. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses.
