Snow Machines - Jackson Ranger District General Information Document Type: K - Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Solicitation Type: RFQ Posted Date: July 9, 2012 Response Date: July 16, 2012 NAICS Code: 441228 Set-Aside Total Small Business Solicitation No.: AG-02NV-S-12-0075 Contracting Office Address Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, R-4 IDAWY Acquisition, 1405 Hollipark Drive, Idaho Falls, ID 83401 Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quote (RFQ) No. AG-02NV-S-12-0075; proposal due date is July 16, 2012. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 54, effective as of December 2, 2011. Attached, you will find a Solicitation for the purchase of two 2012 1100cc Turbo 4 stroke Snow Machines for the Bridger - Teton National Forest. No later than 3:00 pm MST, July 16, 2012 please provide a price, for all items on schedule, days to delivery and experience questionnaire. The selection process will consist of a Best Value source selection based on price, days to delivery, and item meeting all specifications. Under a Best Value source selection, non-price evaluation factors, when combined are significantly more important than price. However, the Contracting Officer will not select an offeror for award on the basis of a superior capability without consideration of the amount of the price. All proposals shall include the following information: 1.) Price 2.) Vendor ability to meet snow machine specifications 3.) Vendor ability to meet delivery deadlines This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 441229. In order to be considered a small business under this NAICS code, your organization must not exceed 7 million in annual revenue.
