- This synopsis is issued to accomplish the following barge repairs: 1. Install Fire and Flooding Alarm Systems; 2. Repair Exhaust Ventilation Hoods; 3. Troubleshoot and Repair Gaylord Hood System; 4. Resurface and Repair Interior PRC Decking; 5. Replace Griddle; and 6. Manage and Dispose Hazardous Waste Produced on Naval Vessels. Work will be performed at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility. Period of Performance is 01 August 2012 to 20 September 2012. FY2013 NAVSEA Standard Items and FY2010 Local Standard Items are invoked for this requirement. A Ship Check will be announced with the Solicitation. A visit request is required to be submitted prior to start date. The Contractor will be required to obtain appropriate security clearance to work. Award of this contract shall be in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Items.
