- White Sands Missile Range Contracting Office, WSMR NM intends to award a sole source, fixed price contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A). These supplies have been deemed to be available only from the original source for the continued development or production of a major system or highly specialized equipment, including major components thereof. It is likely that award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. Notice of intent to award sole source to Calix Inc.,1035 N. McDowell Blvd, Petaluma, CA 94954-1173 for the purchase of Optical Distribution Network equipment. No other companies The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition 334290, with a size standard of 750 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation package will be issued. Responses received by Friday, July 13, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. MST. will be reviewed by the Government. However, supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.
