- Description
- The Government intends to procure stackable test weights to support crane and hoist load testing. Test weights shall be easily transportable, stackable to allow for compact test loads, and each weights shall be stamped with the actual weight. Four (4) sets of weights are to be procured, and each set of test weights shall be capable of stacking together in any combination; however, the four (4) individual sets do not have to stack with each other. The Request For Proposals (RFP) will include full details and specifications. This procurement will utilize Full and Open competitive procedures under FAR 12.6. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request For Proposals (RFP); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website https://www.neco.navy.mil. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov.
